President Obama is holding a live strategy meeting on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time for all Organizing for America supporters. I hope you can join us, online or by phone.
The President will update us on the fight to pass real health insurance reform -- what's happening in D.C. and what's happening around the country. He'll lay out our strategy and message going forward and answer questions from supporters like you. And we'll unveil the next actions we'll organize together.
This is a critical time in this President's administration, and in the history of our country. I hope you can join us.
Here are the details:
What: Organizing for America National Health Care Forum
When: Thursday, August 20th, 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time
RSVP and submit a question for the President.
The President wrote to us a few weeks ago to ask us to go the extra mile this month in the fight for health insurance reform. And so far, you've stepped up in a big way: Last week, an astounding 60,000 Organizing for America volunteers stopped by representatives' and senators' local offices. You told your health care stories to staffers and members of Congress -- of losing insurance after getting laid off, of being denied coverage upon finding out about a serious illness. And you thanked those supporting real health insurance reform for all the work they've done so far.
But these local office visits were only part of the story. The D.C. media has been trumpeting coverage of town halls disrupted by angry opposition to reform. But the reality on the ground is very different. Organizing for America supporters are showing up in huge numbers at these meetings all across the country -- outnumbering opponents of reform, often by overwhelming margins.
You've organized 11,906 local events in all 50 states -- from press conferences to community discussions -- since we launched our big campaign for reform in June. And you've made hundreds of thousands of calls to Congress.
Your work so far has been incredible. But the special interests and partisan attack groups who oppose reform will not let up, and they will tell whatever lies they can to spread fear. There's a lot more work for all of us to do. This Thursday's meeting is our chance to huddle as a team, get the latest information and talk about how we're going to achieve this victory. You don't want to miss it.

What an "Orchestrated" Protest Looks Like
Democrats are claiming that protests against the 0bamaCare bill are "manufactured" or "orchestrated." Here's what real manufactured & orchestrated protests look like:

Obama may or may not be Native Born depending on the validity of his paternal grandmother's statement in Kenya, and the sealed hospital records in Mombasa, Kenya, but he is certainly not "natural born" since for that term both his parents must be U.S. citizens (of any category) when he was born. And per statements made in his own campaign's website, and in his books, Obama has admitted his father was a British Subject when Obama was born. Obama's father never at any time was a U.S. citizen. In fact his father was not even an immigrant to the USA nor was he ever even a permanent resident of the USA. Thus since his father was not a U.S. citizen, Obama is NOT a "Natural Born Citizen (NBC)" of the U.S. under our Constitution's framer's intent and Constitutional standards. And thus he cannot serve as our President under our Constitution. Defining "natural born citizen", a dissertation on that subject.

Dear President Obama,
With all due respect, I resent the insinuation from your administration and the Democrat congressional leadership that the grass-roots revolt against "ObamaCare" has somehow been manufactured. Please do not be fooled. This outrage is coming directly from the ranks of Real Americans.
Real Americans like me are not rallied by professional "organizers." We seek out information on the truth behind your proposed reforms of our healthcare system.
Real Americans like me will rally and speak out for freedom from a governmental takeover of healthcare, at any town hall meeting, any time we are able. Our brave American forebears fought and died for as much.
Real Americans like me don't need to be hand-picked and/or bussed-in to photo-op press events contrived by government officials or the biased Mainstream Media. We don't have to be coerced by unions or community organizers. Nor do we feel so insecure about our beliefs that we seek out snitches to turn in those who believe differently than we do. We welcome a healthy debate.
Real Americans like me are Patriots who love to exercise our free-speech rights, given to us by God and enshrined in our Constitution. We would rally to the side of government leaders who proposed sensible initiatives we felt were in our Nation's best interest.
Real Americans like me are proof that this outpouring of resentment for your Big Government programs is not "Astroturf" organized nor secretly staged. It is organic. It is sincere. And it is REAL.
To belittle the concerns of Real Americans regarding your progressive agenda is naive at best and will certainly not win popular support from a broad, bipartisan voter base. To attempt to intimidate Real Americans who criticize your initiatives is, quite simply, un-American.
If you cannot successfully argue your case, Mr. President, then we, the Real Americans, will let you and Congress know. We WILL continue to exercise our free speech rights.

Hawaii's law re Birth Certificates for Children Born out of State
[§338-17.8] Certificates for children born out of State. (a) Upon application of an adult or the legal parents of a minor child, the director of health shall issue a birth certificate for such adult or minor, provided that proof has been submitted to the director of health that the legal parents of such individual while living without the Territory or State of Hawaii had declared the Territory or State of Hawaii as their legal residence for at least one year immediately preceding the birth or adoption of such child.
