I have been in a dialog with Team 360, who placed the bronze plaque at The Original Stash (see the video here), and was banned from geocaching almost two years ago for undisclosed reasons. He is selling a very interesting geocoin on eBay, in case anybody is interested. I couldn't resist placing a bid, but I'm sure I will be outbid soon.
Please note that, by initiating this blog post, I am not publicly confirming or denying my agreement or disagreement with the offensive or inoffensive nature of this authorized or unauthorized geocoin...not that there's anything wrong with it... Just an item of interest...or disinterest.

Now THAT'S a good-looking 'Illegal Alien' coin! Hope you win it, Pablo Mac!
Yep, banned for almost two years now, for posting about the idea of this very coin, which just this past week became a reality. I figured since I was already 'doing the time', I may as well 'do the crime'...at least now I am being punished for something, instead of nothing for almost the past two years...
Look people, with all the different types of geocoins out there, this coin would have eventually been made, with or without my involvement. Being in Arizona, on the front-lines of this immigration issue, gives geocachers down here an up-close view of the illegal immigration issue.
Let's face it, if you can't laugh at this coin, you've really lost your sense of humor. On one hand, it's a very serious issue. On the other side, it's almost comical to see just how far illegals will go to get into this country, some of the things we've seen down here are unbelievable. You've just got to shake your head and laugh.
The coin isn't about hate or prejudice, despite what some others are saying. There's no hatred directed towards any group, this is a stand against the idea of ILLEGAL immigration. It's ILLEGAL, get it? I guess those who say they are offended by the coin are those who support the illegal act of immigration. Anyone who wants to come to this country should have a chance to do it, just do it the right way and sign the book at the entrance. What's so wrong with that?
Thanks, Pablo!
360.
I recently got one of these coins at GeoWoodstock IV. There was a booth selling these for about $10 each, so I got one for the novelty of it.
this, "story," is pretty much unbelievable ! we just got banned from groundspeak/gc.com for the 2nd time. both times was because we stood up for something, told the truth, seeked justice, voiced an opinion...whatever you wanna call it. after reading this story about team360/jeff, we don't feel so bad because we're in very good company. if this guy can get banned, who can't ? it's shocking that gc.com/groundspeak would ban someone for speaking out against illegal immigration which, in our opinion, is a problem that's causing major destruction/downfall of our country. major liberal bs. if you knew why we got banned BOTH TIMES, you wouldn't even believe it. to use the site you have to be a major kiss ass, conformist,no opinion, liberal, won't speak up for what's right loser !
